There is power in creating learning communities. You can create them. In your work, with groups of alumni, with friends with similar interests, etc.

Failure

What is it to fail in the arts? What is it to fail in general? What do we gain from failing? What structures exist for young people and adults to fail and grow from failure?

With theater for example, failure often results in a creative breakthroughs.

Hook

Another argument for the arts beyond the cognitive abilities they inspire, etc: Arts have the ability to serve as a hook to engage students in positive behavior and attending school. So do sports and some other things.
